“Play is a child’s language and toys are his words”
-Garry Landreth, Ed.D, LPC, RPT-S
A variety of carefully selected, developmentally-appropriate, therapeutic toys and games are available to children in session to allow them to express their inner emotions, resolve problems and promote effective healing. The trained and registered play therapist provides a trusting environment with reflective listening, behavior tracking, therapeutic understanding and play participation at the child’s request, to create a safe place for children to work out their emotional concerns and behavioral challenges.
