“Play is a child’s language and toys are his words”
-Garry Landreth, Ed.D, LPC, RPT-S
A variety of carefully selected, developmentally-appropriate, therapeutic toys and games are available to children in session to allow them to express their inner emotions, resolve problems and promote effective healing. The therapist provides a trusting environment with reflective listening, behavior tracking, therapeutic understanding and play participation at the child’s request, to create a safe place for children to work out their emotional concerns and behavioral challenges.
